Its extreme flexibility allows you to activate only the tools required at any given time, including those used only occasionally, without the need for separate purchases, while also granting instant access to newly released products from day one. With a single subscription covering the entire pool, this model delivers significant cost savings and ensures you can efficiently scale your capabilities as your project demands evolve.

Value Based (token) Licensing shares similarities with traditional per seat floating licenses in that both models allow users to check out the necessary license when needed and return it once finished so another user can access it. However, unlike per seat floating licensing, where the available product pool is limited strictly to the specific modules a company has purchased, token licensing provides access to every product included within the broader token pool. As a result, users gain the advantage of a significantly larger set of products they can utilize without requiring individual purchases for each module.

How it works

Each NX application in the licensing pool uses a predefined number of tokens when activated, and the total number of applications, along with which specific ones can be used in addition to the Base Application is determined by the number of tokens available to the user. These tokens are packaged and offered in sets known as “Value Packs,” allowing users to scale their access to applications based on their operational needs.
